We’re now a week away from the highly anticipated return of the Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jams.

Originally released in 1996, the Air Jordan XI is the universally adored shoe which Michael Jordan wore as he claimed his record eighth scoring title and fourth championship ring for the Chicago Bulls. The legacy of the shoe was transferred to film as Jordan wore a black/white/royal blue colorway of the Air Jordan XI model in the 1996 animated movie “Space Jam”

Originally retroed in 2001, they became the fastest selling Jordans of all time.

One of the most beloved J’s ever, the XI’s were the first basketball sneaker to ever feature patent leather. Widely expected to be the hottest shoe release of 2009, the Space Jam XI’s will release in stores worldwide in extremely limited quantities on December 23rd. The shoes will be packaged in a specially designed box along with shoe horns to keep the shape of the kicks intact for all you diehard sneakerheads.
