NCAA Baseball Season Underway

Submitted by on March 30, 2010 – 1:04 pmNo Comment

The 2010 Major League Baseball season doesn’t start til this Easter Sunday but college baseball has been going on for a couple of months now.

And Hat Club is proud to state that our hometown school Arizona State University is sitting atop at #1 on the USA TODAY/ESPN Top 25 Coaches’ Baseball Poll and currently undefeated at 23-0.

Prior to the start of this season, the Sun Devils lost their legendary head coach of 15 years, their top pitcher, their two most productive bats and their returning ace to injury; making this hot start all the more impressive.

The only other undefeated team are the UCLA Bruins at 20-0 who are #5 in the poll. The rest of the top 5 is rounded out by Georgia Tech, Virginia and defending champion LSU.

New styles and schools will be added periodically throughout the year.
