The 2010 NBA Free Agency period officially commenced a couple of hours ago tonight.

NBA GM’s and owners are now free to blow up the cell phones of this year’s superstar free agent class which include the likes of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzki, Amare Stoudemire and more; in their efforts to recruit and sell them on why they should come to their respective teams with hopes to win a championship.

The big prize in this summer’s free agent pool will be 2-time MVP LeBron James who is reported to be heavily debating staying with his Cavaliers or packing his bags for either the Bulls, Nets, Clippers, Heat,  Knicks or the Mavericks who are a dark horse team who would have to pull off a sign and trade to get him.

The Cavs have also been reported saying they will have no interest in working out a sign and trade with any team for LeBron James; clearly sending out the message that LeBron will either stay or leave them high and dry with nothing.
