On Wednesday, sneakerheads all over the country were glued to their smartphones, tablets, and computers waiting for 4:51 PM eastern time to hit.
The refresh button had to have been pressed constantly by everyone looking out for Nike.com’s tweet for the link to the Air Jordan III Retro ‘88 shoes.
Unlike the previous release of the White Cement III’s in January 2011, these pairs have the long coveted “Nike Air” logo on the back heel tab instead of the now customary and universally loathed Jumpman logo which explains the $40 price hike to $200.
This was an exclusive online only release which means some of you got a pair while most of you didn’t. If you lucked out or you already have the White Cement III’s from a past release, head to HatClub.com and check out this exclusive White Sox fitted we made for these Retro III’s.
